Meth-laden van crashes into parked police cars in Sydney

A motorist in Australia has been arrested, after crashing his meth-laden van into cop cars parked outside a Sydney police station on Monday. 

Police found more than 273kg of crystal methamphetamine, known as ice, after the man's Toyota Hiace collided with the cars outside Eastwood Police Station, reports 7 News. 

No one was injured in the incident, though one of the police cars were badly damaged.  

The 28-year-old driver of the van was taken to Ryde Police Station after being arrested. He was charged with large commercial drug supply, negligent driving and not giving particulars to police.

The drugs were worth an estimated AU$200 million.
