If you're having trouble with your Gmail this morning, you're not alone.

Google is experiencing worldwide service disruption with its email server, including issues with signing in to accounts.

The official G Suite Status Dashboard currently has Gmail on 'orange' status', meaning it's having disruptions. Users across the world are also reporting seeing error messages on internet browser Google Chrome.

Popular outage reporting website Down Detector shows there have been more than 5000 reports of problems with Google in the last hour.

An outage map shows the problem is worst in city centres across North America, South America, Europe, Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand.

It's not yet clear what's caused the outage or when it will be resolved.
