Cardinal George Pell is about to learn whether his convictions for child sexual abuse will be upheld or quashed.
In March the Australian clergyman was sentenced to six years in prison for abusing two 13-year-old choirboys. He has maintained his innocence and appealed his conviction.

On Wednesday, three judges will rule on his challenge in Victoria's Court of Appeal, beginning at 9:30am local time (11.30am NZ time).
Pell's conviction will be upheld if two of the three judges believe he received a fair trial, but if the verdict is deemed unreasonable he could walk free immediately.
