A serial rapist has shared pictures of him enjoying his freedom after serving less than a quarter of his 52-year sentence for raping at least six British women in Corfu, Greece.

Dimitris Aspiotis, dubbed the 'Beast of Kavos' was arrested in 2010 for his crimes against the female British holidaymakers, and sentenced in 2012.

Aspiotis was convicted of dragging female British holidaymakers into the woods, raping them at knifepoint and robbing them. The horrific rapes took places at a popular party bar Kavos, on the island of Corfu.

According to local media, Aspiotis was released for good behaviour in July 2019 after a new bill passed by the Greek government called for the reduction of prison sentences for inmates across the country.

Florent Kavadas, a lawyer who has previously represented Aspiotis, told The Mirror it was a "horrible law", and allows criminals to walk free simply for following prison rules.

The convicted rapist has now been allowed to return to the bar where he conducted his crimes, and has shared photos of him relishing in his freedom.

The photos show Aspiotis working behind the bar at Kavo and taking a selfie alongside an unidentified blonde woman.

He was also pictured on a street which the Daily Mail reports is the main strip of Corfu, while young girls perch on the pavement behind him.

Kayleigh Morgan was one of Aspiotis's victims, and told The Mirror she has suffered from PTSD after being raped by Aspiotis in 2010.

The 32-year-old British Airways stewardess has spoken out about the eerie photos.

She told Sunday People when she heard he had been released, "she felt sick to her stomach".

"A person like that can never change...I'm terrified he'll do what he did to me again to more victims," Morgan said.

"When I heard he was out, I was in complete shock. I burst into tears and felt sick to my stomach and disgusted."

Morgan waived her right to anonymity to raise awareness about Aspiotis, and posted to several travel-based Facebook groups about the serial rapist.

"Ladies, if you are travelling to Corfu in Greece anytime soon, please avoid Kavo," she wrote in one group.

"This resort is not safe with this monster roaming the streets."

Morgan also posted on the bar's Facebook page where Aspiotis is reportedly a regular, warning patrons to "stay clear".

"Stay clear of this bar! They allow convicted rapists to drink amongst their innocent customers," she wrote on Sos Bar Kavo's Facebook page.

"You are not safe in this bar or Kavos for that matter!"

Aspiotis talked to The Sunday Express last month, and blamed the brutal rapes on his cocaine addiction.

"I am not taking anything now, so I am no danger. I have met a girl and I only think of her now," Aspiotis reportedly said.
