The body of a Thai woman has been found entombed in concrete and stuffed inside a fridge.

It is believed to be missing property developer Wannee Jiracharoenying. The 58-year-old disappeared on October 18.

Jiracharoenying was a philanthropic millionaire, known for donating to multiple charities.

On Sunday, her neighbours reported a putrid smell coming from her apartment. Police investigated and made the grisly discovery.

Inside the apartment's fridge were the remains of a woman, entombed in concrete. Although the body has not been formally identified it is believed to be that of Jiracharoenying.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jiracharoenying's driver, 39-year-old Withun Sitabut.

The Thai Examiner reports Sitabut was withdrawing money from Jiracharoenying's accounts to pay his debt, even after the woman's body was found by police.

CCTV shows Sitabut driving Jiracharoenying's car and withdrawing large amounts of money from her bank.

Sitabut is accused of torturing and murdering Jiracharoenying, reports The Thai Examiner.

Her body has been sent to Maharat Chiang Mai Hospital for identification.
