Argentinian border police have nabbed a would-be drug smuggler who tried to pass off four kilos of marijuana as her pregnant belly.
The 34-year-old was travelling near Argentina's border with Chile when the bus she was on passed through a checkpoint, according to Argentina's Ministry of Security.
Border police first became suspicious of a bag held by the woman's husband. When they searched it, they found two bundles of marijuana, prompting them to lead the couple off the bus.
Once off the bus, the woman told police she was pregnant, but they noticed a strange movement around her stomach area.
Upon closer inspection, it was revealed that instead of a pregnant belly, the woman had 15 bundles of marijuana strapped to her stomach.
The man and woman were arrested and are awaiting charges.
People attempting to conceal drugs on their body is certainly not a new thing.
Earlier this year a Colombian man was caught attempting to hide a bundle of cocaine under his toupee while entering Spain.
His poorly disguised trick didn't fool authorities though and the 65-year-old was quickly detained.
