A taxi driver in Beijing is going to great lengths to avoid catching coronavirus by wearing a full decontamination suit to carry passengers.
Footage taken by a passenger shows the driver in full protective gear including goggles and a surgical mask.
There is also a bottle of hand sanitizer and a stack of fresh surgical masks on the dashboard.
In the video, the passenger can be heard asking the driver, "Do you get many clients while dressed like this?"
"These are extraordinary times," he replied.
"I'm being responsible for myself, and for my family "It's important to have awareness."
The coronavirus is spreading rapidly across China and the world. The death toll from the virus has risen to 212 in China, with more than 9000 confirmed cases.
On Friday, the World Health Organisation called the epidemic a "global health crisis" as it spread to more than a dozen countries.
The virus originated in a live food market in Wuhan, in China's Hubei province.
The city of Wuhan is on lockdown with millions of people trapped. Fifty-three New Zealand citizens are stuck in Wuhan, with the Government working on plans to evacuate them.
