An Italian couple has been criticised for shooting a porn film at one of Myanmar's sacred tourist spots.
The video, shot in Bagan - a world heritage site that features thousands of Buddhist temples - was posted to porn site Pornhub last week.
The couple filmed themselves having sex outside one of the sacred temples.
The temples are active places of worship and visitors to the sacred site are supposed to pay respect, including removing footwear and wearing suitable clothes.
The video has been viewed nearly a quarter of a million times The Guardian reported, but has more dislikes than likes.
The Italian couple post under the name "YeeesYeeesYeees' and describe themselves as two 23-year-olds with piercings and tattoos.
Myo Yee, the Mandalay chairman of the Union of Myanmar Travel Association, said tourism to Bagan was already suffering from the coronavirus outbreak and this video would not help.
"It’s a difficult time for us because not many tourists are coming here," The Guardian reported.
