A teenage boy has been shot dead in the Sydney suburb of Miller.
New South Wales Police said emergency services were called to reports of a shooting just after 11pm on Saturday (local time).
Police attended and a 16-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.
"NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to revive the teenager, however he died at the scene," a police statement said.
A crime scene has been established and a police investigation has commenced.
The teenager has yet to be identified, police said.
