Graffiti has appeared on the Melbourne home of a man who allegedly fled a horrendous crash which killed four police officers.

The word "DIE" was found emblazoned across 41-year-old Richard Pusey's home on Saturday morning. Police said they were investigating a "criminal damage" incident at the home.

"The incident happened at 4:00am when an unknown person spray-painted and damaged a roller door," Victoria Police said in a statement.

It's alleged he was driving his Porsche at 149km/h on Melbourne's Eastern Freeway while under the influence of drugs when he was pulled over by police.

When Constable Josh Prestney, Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Constable Glen Humphris and Senior Constable Kevin King were standing in the emergency lane speaking with Pusey a passing truck driver had a medical event and veered off the road, smashing into the police officers.

Pusey allegedly filmed Taylor as she pleaded for help, saying she had "f***ed his car" and all he wanted to do was "go home and eat sushi" .

He's then accused of running from the scene, leaving the four injured police officers to die.

Pusey did not apply for bail when he fronted court on Friday after being arrested on Thursday morning.

He faces nine charges including speeding, reckless conduct and drug possession.
