Two teenagers have been rushed to hospital after being found naked, malnourished and locked in a room in a North Brisbane property.

The teens, aged 17 and 19, were discovered in some of the most squalid conditions seen by emergency services, according to 9News.

Police and paramedics were initially called to the Stafford home at about 7:30am on Wednesday (local time) regarding the sudden death of a man in his 40s. The man had reportedly suffered a heart attack.

Local media understands that both the teenagers have intellectual disabilities.

They were treated by paramedics before being rushed to the Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside.

Child Safety Minister Di Farmer described it as "another horrific incident". The discovery follows the death of a four-year-old intellectually-disabled girl in Brisbane's Cannon Hill neighbourhood, who is believed to have been left to die in her cot by her father.

The girl, named Willow, was discovered by paramedics on Monday but is believed to have died on or around Saturday. Judging by her reportedly malnourished appearance, investigators are still trying to pinpoint the exact cause and date of her death.

There is currently no investigation into the treatment of the two teenagers, police told local media.
