British family outraged at migrants found hiding in their car luggage box during holiday in France

A British family on holiday in France were shocked and angered to find two migrants hiding in the luggage box on the roof of their car.

The family stopped at the service station in Normandy, France when they heard a noise coming from the box, France Bleu radio reported.

A video posted online captured the two migrants climbing out of the luggage box on top of their black BMW.

"My heart's racing," said the daughter, who videoed the incident.

The 16-year-old teenagers from Eritrea and Guinea were angrily confronted by the father, who demanded they empty out their pockets and wanted to know where their luggage was. The pair walked off, and were later caught by the police.

According to police reports, the teenagers had targeted the car believing it would take them over the border into the UK.

The British family who were driving to France for a holiday, stopped at a hotel in Calais, where the teenagers spotted the car and hid in the luggage box.

The family filed a complaint for theft as all items in the luggage box had been emptied.

The migrants were reportedly caught by local police but have since been released.
