Florida Congress candidate KW Miller has made the bizarre claim there is a "great deal of anime porn" on the internet with popular children's show Dragon Ball Z an example of one.

The independent candidate tweeted on Thursday he believed the anime show Dragon Ball Z is "one of the top issues" on the internet.

"They are sexualizing cartoon characters to push a depraved agenda on our kids," he posted.

Dragon Ball Z is a children's anime series and according to Anime News, it does not contain erotic content.

The popular animated series and film has had huge success in the United States, and is streamed on children's television channel Cartoon Network.

Miller, who has aligned himself with the far-right, shares personal theories on his Twitter account with 36.4k followers.

This post was one among many "alarmist rhetorics" on Miller's Twitter account, according to Anime News, previously posting claims that Twitter is "guilty of interfering with the federal election".

Miller is running for the US House of Representatives in Florida's 18th District on November 3, 2020.
