Woman in the US calls the police on black man parked outside his house

A video of a white woman in the US who called 911 on a black neighbour sitting in his car outside his house has caused outrage online.

The video, posted on Facebook last month by Jeremy Fortner, is believed to have been taken in Anchorage, Alaska.

Fortner was waiting for his son outside the house they both live in.

The video shows a white woman shouting she has called the police. Fortner says he lives in the house opposite where the car is parked, then the woman storms to his front door, telling him to prove he lived there.

"Come into your f*cking house," she said.

"No problem, no problem. This lady is in my way at my house, saying I don't live here," Fortner said in the video, before opening the door to his housemate.

"He lives here," replied his housemate, laughing.

"This is my house, you crazy lady. Another white lady, pulling some more bullcr*p," he said, as she stood by the door.

She then stormed away, accusing him of being a 'f*cking' drug dealer.

"Did you hear that? I'm a drug dealer. Wow... Amazing. You see this stuff on the internet all the time, but you never think it's gonna happen to you at your own home. But there it is, there it is."

"Yesterday this lady took it upon herself to attack me verbally of course as I sat on the shoulder of the private street in front of our home awaiting my son Sir Charles and this is what happened," the post said.

This post has since been reshared on Reddit leaving users outraged. Some commented, nicknaming her 'Karen' and others calling her a 'racist piece of trash'.

The name Karen is a popular term given to white middle-aged women, who often like to complain to the manager. The term has recently been used on women who have called the police on black men.

"I am pretty outraged at this. If she would have backed off and apologized, it would be one thing, but she got even more belligerent. The man in the video showed a lot of class," one user said.

Another commented, "I want to applaud these men for their demeanour and ability to remain calm and objective. Meanwhile I'm about to bite through my phone like a warm candy bar, I'm so mad."

This is not the first time a white woman has falsely accused a black man of dodgy behaviour.

In May, a white woman was filmed calling the Police and claiming that a black man was 'threatening' her in Central Park.

The woman had been walking her dog in broad daylight, when she encountered the man, an avid bird-watcher, who asked her to leash her dog.

She was shown in the video telling the police, "there's an African-American man threatening my life."

The woman has since been charged for filing a false report and has since been fired from her job.
