From 'battleground states' to 'faithless elector': The US election explained

With the US election almost underway, it's nearly time to come to grips with the jargon and terms that are markedly different from what's used in New Zealand.  

Phrases like "battleground states", "electoral college" and "faithless elector" are about to come at Kiwis as President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden battle it out to win.

The Project asked some of New Zealand's smartest political minds for help to get us ready.
