A website owned by the white supremacist group Ku Klux Klan (KKK) has been hacked by an anti-fascist Israeli organisation, exposing members' identities, and revealing some members' pedophiliac behaviour.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the website owned by the Patriotic Brigade Knights of the KKK, which was originally littered with white supremacist imagery and a link to join the group, has been completely transformed by the hackers.
The website now reads "SHABBAT SHALOM! GOODNIGHT WHITE PRIDE," alongside other phases such as "JEWISH SOLIDARITY WITH ALL OPPRESSED PEOPLES."
The hackers used the website to expose members' names and pictures, revealing the supposed leader of the group Texas resident Kevin James Smith was a sex offender.
Smith's face, address, phone number, email address, and proof he paid to operate the website were published alongside a link to his page on the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry where he is registered for raping a 14-year-old girl.
The hackers told The Jerusalem Post they were from an anti-fascist collective called Hayalim Almonim-Hebrew for Anonymous Soldiers.
They said their objective was to "strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of humanity".
The organisation mainly focuses on Texas where they believe a majority of dangerous white supremacist organisations are based.
During their hacking they discovered the Church of the KKK, which was found to have chapters across the US, and notified law enforcement of its existence.
Reddit users expressed their disgust in the white supremacist group.
"Since Conservatives are so worried about paedophilia, I'm sure they will make sure this man gets what's coming to him. Just kidding... We all know that's more projection than actual conservative values," one user wrote.
"How will the KKK continue on now that the moral high ground has been sullied by being run by a child rapist," said another.
The KKK website has now returned to normal but updates on the Hayalim Almonim-Hebrew for Anonymous Soldiers exposing of KKK members can be found at jewishantifa.com.
