A search will resume at Sydney beach today for a baby that was reportedly seen floating in the sea in a plastic bag.
Eyewitnesses said they saw what looked like a baby wrapped in plastic floating in shallow water at Yarra Bay in La Perouse on Sunday.
A search by police, ambulance and rescue helicopters got underway, but had to stop as the light became bad.
Yarra Bay is on the northern side of Botany Bay and is around seven kilometres from the Sydney CBD.
