Donald Trump has used a guest appearance at a Mar-a-Lago wedding to unleash on Joe Biden and his performance as US president.

As the crowd at his Florida resort cheered for John and Megan Arrigo's big day, Trump took the mic to unleash his opinions on the election, border security and China.

"I get all these splash reports, and they're telling me about the border, they're telling me about China, they're telling me about Iran - what are we doing with Iran anyway?" Trump told the guests in a speech filmed and shared with TMZ.

"We were ready to make a deal, they were ready to do anything, they would have done anything. And this guy [Biden] goes and drops the sanctions and then he says 'we'd like to negotiate now'.

"They don't want to deal with that stuff. And China the same thing. They never treated us that way. You saw what happened a few days ago was terrible."

Trump then addressed the situation at the US border, where there's been an explosion in migrant numbers since Biden took power.

"The border is not good. It's the worst anyone's ever it... what's happening to the kids, they're living in squalor. They are living like nobody has ever seen. There's never been anything like this," Trump said.

"They have the airplane photos... these things are showing thousands and thousands of people coming up from South America... it's a humanitarian disaster.... it's going to destroy the country."

Trump also brought up the US election, asking the group: "Do you miss me yet?"

He moved on to the vote count, repeating debunked rumours of election fraud.

"They said 'get 66 million votes, sir, and the election is over'. I got 75 million votes, and you saw what happened.

"At 10:30pm in the evening, all of a sudden, they said 'that's a strange thing, why are they closing up certain places'. There's a lot of things happening right now."

Trump finally finished by wishing the married couple the best for the future.

"It's an honour to be here. It's an honour to have you at Mar-a-Lago. You are a great and beautiful couple."
