Watch: Queen Elizabeth's 2021 Commonwealth Address

The Queen will deliver her pre-recorded 2021 Commonwealth Address on Monday to mark Commonwealth Day.

Commonwealth Day is held every second Monday of March to celebrate the Commonwealth of Nations. It was first celebrated in 1902, on what would have been Queen Victoria's birthday, the year after her death

The day is usually marked by a traditional Anglican service at Westminster Abbey - however, this year is a little different, as the COVID-19 pandemic means large gatherings are still banned in the UK.

Instead, the Queen's speech will be televised and broadcast globally.
