A woman has admitted to cutting off her boss's penis with a knife during an alleged rape attempt at the bar where she works in Barcelona.
The incident took place early on Tuesday (Spain time), the Daily Mail reported, and the woman contacted police herself to admit to the assault. She said the man had been sexually assaulting her for months.
El Mundo reported it was another employee who called the emergency department, which took the man to hospital for urgent surgery to reattach his penis.
Both people have been arrested, El Mundo reported. The woman is accused of a crime of injuries while the man is accused of attempted rape.
Both the man and the woman are from Bangladesh and have criminal records.
