A prominent Wall Street trader has been accused by six women of abusing them during sex sessions in his New York 'sex dungeon'.

Howard Rubin, a former money manager for billionaire investor George Soros, is being sued by six women who are seeking at least US$18 million, the New York Post reported.

The first accusations were made in November 2017 when three women, including Playboy playmates, accused Rubin of assault, battery and human trafficking.

"In short, they are each alleging that they were brought to New York and taken advantage of," the women's attorney, John Balestriere, told The Post. "Allegations come down to [the women] saying they were physically and sexually abused."

Now, a total of six women are suing the 66-year-old in a trial scheduled for November, according to the Daily Mail.

They have accused Rubin of paying them up to US$5000 in order to take part in the BDSM sex.

The women also say he abused them, ignored their safe words, went beyond boundaries and agreements they had set before sex and physically hurt them.

One woman alleges Rubin told her while she was bound "I'm going to rape you like I rape my daughter" and then sexually assaulted her.

He is also accused of "beating [a woman's] breasts so badly that her right implant flipped".

Court documents reveal the injury was so severe her "plastic surgeon was not even willing to operate on her breasts".

Rubin's lawyer refused to comment when approached by the New York Post.

These accusations come after Rubin's wife of 36 years, Mary Henry, filed for divorce on July 7.
