Warning: This article describes a sex act
Spectators were left horrified as a couple engaged in a public sex act in broad daylight on a busy Sydney street.
A citizen drinking at a nearby pub caught the shocking moment a woman pulled down a man's underwear and squatted behind him as he bent over on his hands and knees on a public bench.
"What is happening here," one person in the video shared widely online said. "What is going on?"
"Oh what the f**k," another said.
The act was believed to have occurred on January 26, celebrated locally as Australia Day, in a pedestrian shopping street in central suburb of Potts Point.
New South Wales Police confirmed to The Sun it is investigating the video and urges anyone who recognises the pair to call Crimestoppers.
The culprits could be fined $1100 AUD or spend six months in prison for "willfully and obscenely exposing his or her person" in a public place.
