Prince Andrew's former girlfriend claims photos of the Prince with his arm around Virginia Giuffre's waist was a fake made with an "Irish body-double".

Lady Victoria Hervey posted on a series of Instagram stories, speculating the photo that has been widely circulated as evidence Prince Andrew was involved in sex trafficking incidents with Jeffrey Epstein, is photoshopped.

Hervey posted a badly edited version of the photo, showing Giuffre standing alone.

"What if I told you a survivor of Epsteins told me it's an Irish body double that was edited in," Hervey posted.

"The original photo was painted so what you see is one of the other girls painting. I will give more info later on this," She said. "But the guy they used is in fact a body double that they photoshopped Andrew's head onto. Maria Farmer edited it together with Virginia."

Hervey, who dated Prince Andrew back in 1999, earlier this month said she was used as "bait" too find girls for Ghislaine Maxwell and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to The Daily Beast, Hervey posted a photo of Giuffre on a yacht in the same outfit, claiming she thinks it is suspicious that Giuffre was wearing the same outfit at both occasions.

Prince Andrew has refused that the photo is real in court and claims he has never met Giuffre.

Last week, a source familiar with the prince's thinking and legal strategy told The Daily Beast that he considered the photograph “irrelevant” unless the original was produced.

A source of Giuffre's side admitted they don't know whether the original photo still existed.
