A US man got the fright of his life after finding a huge snake in his couch.
Snake wrangler Alex Trejo was called to get rid of the snake and was shocked when he discovered how big it was reports Newsweek.
The snake was a seven-foot Vietnamese blue beauty rat snake, a rare find in Calfornia.
Trejo put a video up of him holding the large snake on his Instagram before removing it from the property.
The snake catcher said in his Instagram video ‘This is absolutely insane.’
Trejo said that when he got the call he was not expecting a reptile that large.
‘You’ll never know how astounded I felt when I first saw the snake, I was completely blown away.’
The snake didn’t belong to the person who found it in his couch had no idea how it got there.
Trejo said the Vietnamese blue beauty is not native to California and was confused as to where it came from.
