A new development is adding fuel to the widespread debate on extraterrestrial life - making claims that are out of this world.

Several witnesses have made wild allegations of encounters with UFOs, including sexual encounters that even left one woman pregnant.

The revelations come after The Sun obtained Pentagon documents from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as part of a Freedom of Information request that started four years ago.

A report called Anomalous Acute and Subacute Field Effects on Human and Biological Tissues investigated the health impacts of humans who have had paranormal experiences including occurrences of apparent abduction, unaccounted for pregnancy, sexual encounters, telepathy and perceived teleportation.

The investigation reported five sexual encounters between UFOs and humans, including one pregnancy. It also found alleged UFO sightings can leave witnesses suffering injuries, most commonly radiation burns.

Other injuries included impact on nerves, damage to the brain, marks left on the body, teeth vibrations and many more.

"Sufficient incidents/accidents have been accurately reported, and medical data acquired, as to support a hypothesis that some advanced systems are already deployed, and opaque to full US understandings. The medical analyses while not requiring the invention of an alternative biophysics do indicate to use of (to us) unconventional and advanced energy systems," the report read.

The report had 42 cases from medical files and 300 similar unpublished cases where humans have been injured by "anomalous" encounters. The report was part of over 1500 pages of DIA documents relating to the Pentagon's secret UFO programme The Sun obtained, including US government-commissioned scientific reports and letters to the Pentagon.

The UFO programme, called the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Programme, was a study that ran between 2007 and 2012 that was outed in December 2017 by a former intelligence officer. It was centred around looking into reports of UFOs.
