Would you be keen to have 100 cockroaches released into your house in exchange for money?

A North Carolina pest control company, The Pest Informer, is offering more than $3,000 to free 100 cockroaches into seven American houses.

The company wants to study the effectiveness of a new pest control technique.

If you are willing to embrace your fear of cockroaches, don’t worry as the insects won’t stay in your house forever.

If the new pesticide fails, the company will use ‘traditional cockroach treatment options at no cost’ to kill the cockroaches.

There are a few rules though:

  • You must own the home or have written approval from the homeowner.

  • You must be 21 years or older to qualify.

  • You must be located in the Continental United States

  • You must not try any additional cockroach treatments during the duration of the study.

The Pest Informer said the treatment is family and pet safe and the study will last for 30 days.
