An OnlyFans model has been accused of murdering her boyfriend following a relationship that was plagued by domestic strife.

Courtney Clenney, 26, was charged with second-degree murder after fatally stabbing her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in their Miami apartment.

Clenney, who goes by the name Courtney Tailor on social media, was arrested at a rehab facility for substance abuse and PTSD in Hawaii and is set to be extradited to Florida where she will face the charge.

On the evening of April 3 (local time) neighbours began calling building security reporting a disturbance at the apartment. The security called the police at around 4:45pm (local time), the Miami Herald reported.

Clenney also called emergency services just before 5pm (local time) to report that Obumseli had been stabbed after she called her mother twice.

Clenney claimed she had thrown a knife at Obumseli from 10 feet away, but a medical examiner's report found that the stab wound occurred from a "forceful downward thrust" that could not have been caused by a throw from that distance.

The pair, who had been together for just under two years, had a toxic relationship with neighbours and staff members at their apartment complex reporting numerous domestic disturbance complaints about the couple in the few months they lived there and had even moved to evict them.

The state attorney for Miami-Dade County, Katherine Fernandez Rundle, claims Clenney had a history of being the aggressor in the relationship.

According to the Miami Herald, Clenney was arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas, and police had been called to their home in Austin, Texas, on several occasions.

CCTV footage a few months before the stabbing took place shows a fight between the couple in an elevator which appears to be initiated by Clenney, however, it is unclear what took place before the video.

But Clenney's defence maintains she acted in self-defence, claiming she only stabbed Obumseli after he grabbed her by the throat and shoved her against a wall.

"Obumseli attacked her and choked her that evening," her lawyer Frank Prieto told the Miami Herald. "Courtney had no choice but to meet force with force."

Clenney is an OnlyFans model and influencer who has over 2 million followers on Instagram but has not posted since March 31.
