A middle school teacher in Texas has admitted having sex with a 13-year-old boy in her classroom.
Marka Bodine will spend 60 days in jail and must register as a sex offender for sexually abusing the teen she met while teaching English at Tomball Intermediate School in Texas.
The 32-year-old admitted to sending inappropriate pictures and videos and later admitted having sex with the boy, who is now 16, New York Post reported.
Court documents revealed the abuse began in 2018 and lasted three years, during which time Bodine had sex with the boy in her classroom as well as in her car.
The victim told police the teacher began chatting to him on the videogame Fortnite before they began texting and the messages became explicit after they had sex.
Bodine brought the abuse to light herself when she told her school principal she was being harassed by a former student, who was threatening to harm himself, New York Post reported.
Her sentence will be delayed though as she recently had a baby. The 13-year-old is not the father.
