Ukraine invasion: New footage shows brutal reality of missile attacks

A new video from the battlefield between Russia and Ukraine shows the brutal reality of war.

The war between the two countries continues to grow, with fierce fighting in eastern Ukraine.

The footage shows a group of Russian soldiers walking in a field with detonated mines, then being shot down by a weapon believed to be a Ukrainian anti-tank missile shooter called a "death ray".

The impact reportedly killed several soldiers and seriously injured others.

Ukrainian officer Anatoly Shtefan, who shared the footage, tweeted: "Whoever comes to our land with a sword will die by the sword."

"High-quality work of the unit in the eastern direction [of Ukraine]," he added.

Through the footage, Russian soldiers are seen running across the field to help those who were hit by the missile strike.

They were then struck by a second missile as they carried the injured soldiers across the field.

Those who remained began to run across the field toward nearby trees - before being hit for the third time.

The footage then shows soldiers lying dead in the field, with surrounding grounds scarred by missile strikes.

This video comes just weeks after more than 100 Russian troops were wiped out in one missile strike.
