A man who broke into the home of an Australian family watched their six-month-old daughter sleep, then ate some cheese and drank a beer before being chased out of the house by the irate father.
Tom and Isabella Ridgewell told 9 News the man broke into their Tweed Heads house while they were sleeping.
CCTV footage showed him watching their six-month-old daughter sleep in her crib.
The footage then showed him take a block of cheese and a beer out of the fridge and sit on the sofa to enjoy the snack, 9 News reported.
"He had every opportunity to take what we have and [he took] nothing," Tom told 9 News.
"It was almost like he was at home with how he was acting."
Tom eventually woke up and chased the intruder out of the house with a baseball bat.
