A US lawyer is reportedly recovering from a leg injury after accidentally shooting herself inside court.
The investigator for Georgia's Fulton County District Attorney office "shot herself in the leg inside the fourth-floor handicap accessible bathroom" of the county's courthouse, Fox 5 reported citing sources close to the investigation.
It reportedly happened at about 10am on Friday (local time).
According to investigators, the lawyer was expected to make a full recovery.
"She was not critically wounded. A... deputy responded and administered aid until EMS (emergency services) arrived," the Fulton County Sheriff's Office said in a statement, as reported by ABC News.
"There was never an active threat at the courthouse."
