Details have emerged about the items that technology detector dogs uncovered while searching the home of accused mushroom murder chef Erin Patterson.

In November 2023, Patterson was arrested by Victorian police and charged with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder.

She cooked and served a fatal beef Wellington lunch while hosting members of her estranged husband's family on July 29.

Gail and Don Patterson, as well as Gail’s sister Heather Wilkinson and her husband Ian, joined Patterson at her home.

Gail, 70, Don, 70, and Heather, 66, all later died in a Melbourne hospital after displaying symptoms associated with poisoning by death cap mushroom.

Ian survived but remained in a coma for nearly two months.

After 50 days, he had recovered enough to be released.

Now, police have revealed what their technology dogs were able to uncover during a search of Patterson's home.

The specialist sniffer dogs from the Australian Federal Police found numerous items.

Dog Georgia reportedly uncovered a USB, a micro secure digital card and a SIM card, according to the Daily Mail.

"Technology Detector Dog Alma found a mobile phone, five iPads, a trail camera, and secure digital card and a smartwatch," said AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw.

The items had not been found during an initial search of Patterson's house by officers.

Patterson remains behind bars on remand at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a maximum-security women's prison.

Her estranged husband, Simon Patterson, had been meant to attend the deadly lunch but pulled out at the last minute.

Police said three of the five attempted murder charges relate to three separate incidents between 2021 and 2022 when Simon fell ill after eating meals cooked by Patterson that led to him fighting for his life.

Police allege that Patterson's 2023 lunch that killed members of Simon's family, which was supposedly hosted in a bid to rekindle a relationship, was her fourth attempt at killing him.
