Controversial US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has lashed out at pro-Palestinian protesters, telling them what they're doing is "f**ked up".
The Democrat, known by her initials AOC, was followed and filmed by the group as she left a movie theatre in New York City.
They were calling on her to label Israel's actions in Gaza a "genocide".
Ocasio-Cortez was calm at first, telling those filming her, "This is not OK" and, "You're lying".
But once outside, the confrontation turned sour.
"You're gonna cut this and you're gonna clip this so that it's completely out of context. I already said that it was [genocide]," she is seen on camera saying down the camera.
"Ya'll are just gonna pretend that it wasn't over and over again. It's f**ked up man.
"You're not helping these people, you're not helping them."
Ocasio-Cortez has frequently censured Israel for its response to the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas.
