Footage shows TV presenter continue reading news as Taiwan earthquake interrupts live broadcast

Video footage shows the moment an earthquake struck Taiwan during a live news report.

It comes as the 7.7 magnitude earthquake rocked Taipei on Wednesday morning, cutting off power in several parts of the city.

Footage of the earthquake was captured inside SET TV's studio, as the camera started to shake.

The female presenter tried her best to stay calm as she continued to read the news.

She can be seen holding on to the projector behind her to stabilise herself as she sways side to side.

Lights above then start moving around in circles rapidly as the shaking continues.
