A 63-year-old man has admitted masturbating in front of women and girls at a public Christchurch park.
Appearing in the Christchurch District Court this morning, Martin Robson pleaded guilty to two charges of wilfully doing indecent acts at Hansen Park.
Police allege he was seen in a bush at the park, where he exposed himself to passersby and was seen touching himself inappropriately.
Robson, who lives in the suburb of Avondale, was arrested in August after police put out a public appeal for information on his whereabouts.
He was spotted by Christchurch City Council workers, who called police.
Judge Brian Callaghan remanded Robson on bail until mid-November, when he will be sentenced.
He gave a strict warning to Robson, saying any re-offending would lead to him being held in custody.
