A woman is facing a charge of common assault after an attack on a parking warden in Tauranga.
Police allege the 27-year-old punched the male council worker in the face after her car was ticketed for parking illegally in a disability space this morning.
RadioLIVE understands the car had earlier been fined for not having a current warrant or registration.
A spokesperson for Tauranga City Council says the parking warden received a graze and was able to continue working.
