Swimmer Lauren Boyle has turned the tables on Wales' Jazz Carlin to win the gold medal in the women's 400m freestyle at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Boyle clocked a Games record of 4 minutes 04.47 seconds to beat Carlin by 0.69s on Tuesday night.
Third was Australian Bronte Barrett.
In the 800m final the previous night, Carlin pushed Boyle into second place after a titanic battle.
In the 400m, it was Barratt who led early before Boyle upped the pace at the 150m mark.
The 26-year-old Aucklander, who had been the fastest qualifier from the morning's heats, pulled in front and was never headed again.
It is her fourth Commonwealth medal, after a silver in Delhi and a bronze in Melbourne in relay events.
