Tuke joined Emirates Team NZ in 2014 for their successful America's Cup quest in Bermuda and, as flight controller, he is responsible for keeping Te Rehutai on its foils, which is critical for victory.

The 31-year-old has also won a silver medal at London and gold at the 2016 Olympics, where he was also flagbearer for New Zealand, alongside Burling.

The Kawakawa native also picked up the 2015 World Sailor of the Year award and was named Team of the Year at the 2016 & 2017 Halberg Awards, with Burling and Team NZ respectively.
