The new Star Wars film has already raked in $200 million, and it's expected to smash opening weekend records, likely making back all the money Disney spent to produce the film by Monday.
How does a lifelong Star Wars fan give an objective, spoiler-free review of a brand new Star Wars film?
This is The Force Awakens, but I suspect I am preaching to the converted. After years of hype, months of trailers, weeks of cast fan events and photo ops, JJ Abrams' Star Wars opus has arrived.
And what should you expect? Not to be disappointed. And what else? That you will be spared in this instance a detailed, in-depth "review" of the film.
Let's talk more later, but for now, my advice? See it in 3D, on the biggest screen you can find with the best sound on offer. And, take tissues.
In summary, I have nothing more to say. My star rating is even arbitrary at this point, as I have only seen the film once, with two more viewings still to come. I cannot separate the geek from the professional, and there is too much to be thrilled by, too much emotion to process, and too much history reborn in the most modern of ways not to love this movie.
