Remember Finding Nemo? Of course you do. Well now it's time you found Dory.
I'd forgotten how much I loved that fish, and yes Nemo, but really, I mean Dory. And I don't even suffer from short-term memory loss.
Of course we needed more Dory, and we needed her backstory. And it's a story, like Nemo's, that I know I'm going to need to watch time and time again.
There's not much I really want to reveal plot-wise, except to say Dory's dodgy memory starts to crank into play, and her past slowly becomes her future.
So, get ready for some of your favourites from Nemo, and ready yourself to fall in love with some brand new ones -- especially Hank the orange octopus.
Enough seen and almost enough said, Dory opens across the nation next week, and that's all you really need to know.
There was never any need to worry. It's not like Pixar doesn't know how to make great sequels and Dory doesn't mess with that certainty. Nourishing in ways I could never have imagined, Finding Dory is a simple storytelling delight from go to whoa, complete with a new animated love affair in the form of an Octopus called Hank.
