'It's like golf course music' - 50 Cent mocks Jay Z's 4:44

Rapper 50 Cent has mocked Jay Z's new album 4:44, saying he feels like he should wear glasses while listening to the "golf course music".

The 'Many Men' artist took to Instagram to review his fellow New York rapper's latest work, prefacing his criticisms by saying it was alright and he liked it.

However, 50 Cent then labelled 4:44 as "too smart".

"I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and sh*t, and tie a f**king sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League sh*t," 50 Cent says.

"N**gas is hot out here - they don't want to hear that sh*t, they just want to have a good time. And f**k that, you can't be the best rapper at 47, because the new n**gas is here. They're coming with new sh*t going on... you've got to let them young n**gas come in."

Appearing to wind himself up a bit while talking about letting more youthful rappers shine, 50 Cent, who is aged 41himself, asked, "What the f**k is the matter with you?"

He ends the video saying 4:44 is "like golf course music" and laughing.

The insults come after rappers Future and Boosie Badazz also criticised the latest from Beyonce's husband, who has also recently become embroiled in a feud with former friend Kanye West.

Jay Z has not publicly responded to 50 Cent's diss.
