The biggest night of the year in New Zealand music kicked off in style, with Opetaia and Olivia Foa'i performing their Moana hit 'We Know The Way'.
With more than 30 Pacific singers and dancers on stage, the song was a huge way to start the 2017 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs).

The event is taking place at Auckland's Spark Arena and is broadcast live on Three, with other performances still to come from the likes of Lorde, Devilskin and SWIDT.
Opetaia Foa'i has been creating Polynesian music for more than 20 years and collaborated with acclaimed American composer Lin-Manuel Miranda for the Moana soundtrack.
'We Know the Way' made it into the Billboard Hot 100 and has had almost 100 million views on YouTube.
