Paul Sorvino has made violent threats against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, who allegedly sexually harassed his daughter Mira Sorvino.

"I will kill the motherf**ker. Real simple," the Goodfellas actor told TMZ.

Sir Peter Jackson claimed last month that Weinstein actively blocked Ms Sorvino from getting work in Hollywood, which she cited as "confirmation" of him "derailing" her career.

Now her father has responded to the claims, and he's pulling no punches.

"He's going to go to jail. Oh yeah. That son of a bitch," Mr Sorvino told a paparazzo.

"Good for him if he goes, because if not, he has to meet me... If I meet him on the street - he oughta hope that he goes to jail, because if we come across, I think he'll be lying on the floor."

Mr Sorvino said he didn't know about Weinstein's alleged sexual harassment of his daughter, nor the subsequent alleged black-listing of her when she fought back.

If he has known about it, Weinstein would be "on a wheelchair", he stated.

"My daughter's a wonderful person, a courageous and a wonderful human being, and doesn't deserve to have been treated that way by this pig. This pig will get his comeuppance. The law will get him. He's going to go to jail and die in jail."

Later in the interview, Mr Sorvino mellows his threat, saying he would "just slap him around" rather than do anything "too terrible".

Ms Sorvino has said Weinstein gave her an unwanted massage in the 1990s and "tried to get more physical", including chasing her, before he is said to have started ordering filmmakers not to cast her.

Sir Peter's allegation about the black-listing of Ms Sorvino was echoed in a similar claim by Bad Santa director Terry Zwigoff.

Weinstein has denied the allegations.
