Pornhub has introduced closed captioning to a section of its videos.

From Thursday, over 1000 videos are now more accessible to those with hearing loss.
The captioned clips cover a number of genres and have been manually entered rather than using an algorithmic system like most major video platforms.
Pornhub says the subtitles will let viewers differentiate between who is speaking and detect changes in emotion.
Other non-dialogue sounds that are relevant to the storyline will also be highlighted.
Pornhub has already launched videos with audio descriptions for people with sight loss, some of which have already received more than a million views.
