Mac Miller recorded an album with Madlib before he died

Mac Miller is believed to have recorded another album before his death as part of a collaboration with legendary producer Madlib.

Theolonious Martin, Mac Millers producer, claims Madlib told him the two recorded a full project together, called Maclib.

Mr Martin told Djbooth he heard one of the tracks while opening for Madlib last year.

"So, I'm trying to focus and DJ, and Madlib gets on and 15 minutes into his set he just randomly plays a Mac Miller joint. And I turn to him, I'm like, "There's more of these, right?" "

"He said, "Oh, yeah, there's a whole album. Maclib." What! What! He just kept moving on with his DJ set.

Mr Martin said he doesn't know if the album will be released, but he hopes it is.

"If Madlib decides to bless the world with that project, he should."

Mac Miller's final album, "Swimming" was released just one month before he was found dead of an accidental overdose in his home.
