Total number of John Wick kills in all 3 movies revealed

Action movie fans have calculated the bodycount of John Wick 3: Parabellum and added it to the previous films for a staggering total.

John Wick has now killed a total of 299 people on-screen.

That's more than the combined total of Jason Voorhees in all the Friday the 13th movies and Michael Myers in all of the Halloween movies.

Chad Stahelski, the trilogy's director who will also be directing a fourth movie, says he'll keep making them until the audience doesn't want any more.

"I enjoy making these movies because there's no limit," Stahelski told Entertainment Weekly.

"We create our own mythology, and we have a studio that both stays out of our way and supports us on the wacky decisions. If people go see the movie, and it makes money, and they came back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days."

John Wick's kill count in the first three movies:

  • 77 - John Wick
  • 128 - John Wick Chapter 2
  • 94 - John Wick 3: Parabellum

Jason Voorhees has dispatched 157 people on-screen, while Michael Myers has murdered 140, according to Bloody Disgusting.

The Horror Enthusiast blog also lists bodycounts of Ghostface from the Scream movies as 49, Freddy Krueger of the Nightmare on Elm St franchise as 42 and Jigsaw of the Saw series as 60.

Of course, the John Wick movies are of the action genre rather than horror - but their bodycounts easily rival the likes of Commando (81) and 2008's Rambo (87), via Digital Spy.

A painstakingly constructed infographic categorising every single kill in John Wick 3: Parabellum has been published on visu.info, to go with those already published on the website for the first two movies.

Meanwhile, Parabellum is a box office hit, having pulled in US$110 million globally in its first week of release.
