Perhaps the most wholesome video to hit YouTube this week shows the 29-year-old pop star falling in love with the kitten before asking: "can I have him?"
When the animal wrangler tells her the four-legged extra is in fact available for adoption, Swift's excitement levels go through the roof.
The pair remain inseparable throughout the shoot, with Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie swooning over the budding relationship from the sidelines.
"I love that you got him," Urie, who features on the new song, tells Swift between takes.
"It's the sweetest thing."
"Whenever I watch the video I'll just be like, 'that's the first time I saw him!'" she replies.
Swift made the latest addition to her pet family Instagram official earlier this week, revealing she'd name her new fur baby Benjamin Button.
