'See you in February': Mel B says Spice Girls are heading down under

The Spice Girls have confirmed they are bringing their reunion tour to Australia in 2020.

Following rumours and reports of mysterious meetings, the iconic 90s girl group revealed their impending trip at the end of their final show on June 15 at London's Wembley Stadium.

"We'll see you in February in Australia!" Melanie Brown ('Scary Spice') announced to the crowd.

The Spice songstresses embarked on their reunion tour, minus 'Posh Spice' Victoria Beckham, in late May. The group performed 13 shows across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The announcement has generated speculation that the group could be taking the Spice World tour across the ditch to New Zealand, where demand for a show has been sky-high ever since the reunion tour was announced in November last year.

Details about the "Wannabe" hitmakers' first time Down Under are currently unknown.

Beckham has cited her popular eponymous fashion label as the reason behind her inability to partake in the tour.

Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chrisholm and Geri Halliwell formed the Spice Girls in 1994 and went on to release three studio albums in 1996, 1997 and 2000 to enormous commercial success.

They are the best-selling female group of all time.
