Brad Pitt took aim at his own love life during his acceptance speech at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Monday (NZT), and all eyes were on his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston's reactions.
This year's awards season has been consumed by a hysteria over the thought of America's golden couple Jen and Brad getting back together, with rumours of a reconciliation swirling since last year.
Having taken out the best male supporting actor award for his role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Brad didn't miss an opportunity to capitalise on the interest in his love life.
"I'll have to add this to my Tinder profile," Brad quipped.
The real kicker was yet to come though, as the Hollywood heavy-weight listed the similarities between him and his character in Quentin Tarantino's latest flick.
"Let's be honest. It was a difficult part," Brad said.
"A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch. Big."
Whether or not he was referring to his break-up with Angelina Jolie or Jen - or both - is hard to say; but unsurprisingly, the show's cameras switched immediately to capture Jen's reaction.
The former Friends star appeared to be watching on with admiration, smiling and applauding her ex-husband. She also bagged a trophy on the night, for her performance in The Morning Show - which Brad in turn watched admiringly.
The frenzy over Brad and Jen's rekindled relationship ramped up a notch as the night went on, when the pair shared a moment in front of the cameras as they bumped into each other backstage.
Since then, much of the internet has been in a complete meltdown, fuelled by Jen's best mate and former Friends co-star Courtney Cox liking a raft of photos of Jen and Brad from the night.
