Kylie Jenner has been accused by social media users of trying to like Beyonce Knowles.
On Thursday, makeup mogul Jenner released photos of herself wearing a green leopard outfit.
In the images, her hair has similar waves and blonde highlights to Beyonce. Through contouring, her face shape and features also resemble the famous singer, and she's wearing a green dress similar to one Beyonce one wore while on tour.
When she released the photos, many were quick to react negatively.
"Is this Kylie Jenner dressed up as Khloe Kardashian dressed up as Beyoncé?" posted one confused Twitter user.
"It's a no for me," said one another.
One accused her of cultural appropriation.
"Kylie Jenner needs to cut that Beyoncé braid look because she just looks like she's appropriating the way black women wear their hair."
"WHY ARE YOU COSPLAYING AS BEYONCE," said one person.
Another wrote, "Kylie honey, you are not Beyoncé please."
This is not the first time a member of the Kardashian clan has been accused of trying to be black. In late 2019, Kim Kardashian was criticised for a new photoshoot in which her darkened complexion prompted claims of blackface.
Both Kylie Jenner and Knowles have not addressed the situation.
